Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of SONIQSTUDIO, a product by SONIQS, including the website, preview access, local tools, cloud services, AI generation features, file processing, and related services. By using SONIQSTUDIO, you agree to these Terms with SONIQS.

Use Of The Service

You may use SONIQSTUDIO only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You are responsible for your account, your projects, your files, your prompts, your outputs, and all activity under your account.

Preview features may change, break, pause, or be removed as the product is developed. Package names, available features, credits, usage limits, and future pricing tiers may change before public release.

Your Content

You keep ownership of the audio, files, projects, prompts, metadata, and other content you upload, create, or submit through SONIQSTUDIO, subject to any rights held by other people or third parties.

You grant SONIQS a limited license to host, store, copy, transmit, process, transform, display, and create outputs from your content only as needed to provide the services you request, operate SONIQSTUDIO, provide support, protect the platform, and comply with legal obligations.

Cloud Processing And Temporary Files

Some services may require cloud processing. When you request a cloud-based service, SONIQS may temporarily upload, store, process, transmit, cache, and share the files and data needed to perform that service.

We only retain files as needed to perform cloud-based services you request. You may request deletion of retained files or related service data, subject to verification, technical limits, and legal or security requirements.

Most temporary files, generated job data, processing files, and cloud-service data are retained only for up to 14 days and then permanently deleted from active systems, unless a longer period is required for security, legal, billing, abuse-prevention, backup, or support reasons.

Service Providers And Partners

We may share files, prompts, job data, outputs, account data, and other information with service providers or partners only to provide the services you requested, such as hosting, cloud processing, AI generation, storage, payment processing, delivery, support, security, or abuse prevention.

We do not sell your personal information.

No AI Training On Your Data

We do not train our AI systems on your personal data, private files, uploaded audio, project files, prompts, generated outputs, or service request data.

AI Generated Audio Rules

You are responsible for how you use AI generated audio, SoundBOX outputs, generated sound effects, loops, instrumental audio tracks, and any other generated content.

You must not use AI generated audio or any SONIQSTUDIO service to commit a crime, impersonate or imitate any person without proper rights or permission, deceive people, violate privacy or publicity rights, infringe intellectual property, harass or harm others, create unlawful material, or break the law in any way.

Prohibited Conduct

You may not misuse SONIQSTUDIO. Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Using the service for illegal, harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
  • Uploading or generating content that infringes another person's rights.
  • Attempting to bypass security, access controls, usage limits, credit systems, or technical restrictions.
  • Uploading malware, harmful code, or files designed to disrupt systems.
  • Scraping, reverse engineering, or abusing the service except where allowed by law.
  • Interfering with service operation or other users' access.

Rights And Ownership

SONIQSTUDIO, including its software, design, branding, interfaces, systems, features, and documentation, is owned by SONIQS or its licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of SONIQS or SONIQSTUDIO intellectual property.

Generated outputs may be subject to third-party rights, source material rights, platform rules, and applicable law. You are responsible for confirming that you have the rights needed for your intended use.

Credits, Plans, And Preview Access

Preview access may be free for a limited time. Credits, priority generation, package names, access levels, and future pricing tiers are subject to change. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue preview features at any time.

Deletion Requests

You may request deletion of account data, retained files, or service data associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal compliance, billing, dispute resolution, backups, or abuse prevention.

Disclaimers

SONIQSTUDIO is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device, browser, project, plugin, or workflow.

You are responsible for backing up important work. You should not rely on preview software as the only copy of important files, projects, or deliverables.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SONIQS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost content, lost goodwill, or service interruption.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for the service or other users, broke the law, or misused the platform. You may stop using SONIQSTUDIO at any time.

Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice where appropriate. Continued use of SONIQSTUDIO after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
